Audit policy rule test result (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Compliance and internal controls > Common > Policies > Audit policies. Double-click the policy that you want to test policy rules for. On the Policy rules FastTab, select a policy rule type, double-click the related policy rule, and then click Test. In the Document selection date range form, specify the document selection date range to use for this test, and then click Run test.

Use this form to review the results of the test of an audit policy rule.

Note

The column headings on the grid vary. They are determined by the fields that are in the autoreport of the root table for the source document that is evaluated by the policy rule that is being tested.

Description

Audit policy

The name of the audit policy that is associated with the audit policy rule that was tested.

Audit policy rule

The description of the audit policy rule that was tested.

Document type

The name of the table and source document that was tested.

Instance ID

For policy rules that are based on a Duplicate query type, this number indicates whether two or more audit violation records are duplicates. Duplicate results in the grid all share the same instance ID.

For policy rules that are based on other query types, each violation has its own instance ID value.
