Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Production control > Setup > Lean manufacturing > Kanban rules. Select a manufacturing kanban rule that consists of multiple activities. On the Action Pane, click View kanban flow.
Use this form to view detailed information about the kanban flow that is assigned to the selected kanban rule. Kanban flows exist for manufacturing kanban rules that consist of multiple activities. A kanban flow defines the sequence of activities that are performed for kanbans that are created for a kanban rule.
Note
See Choose kanban flows (form) for more information about how to generate kanban flows and assign them to kanban rules.
Navigating the form
The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.
The field groups and fields at the top of the form display information about the last activity of the kanban flow. The fields in the lower section of the form display the activity or activities that precede the last activity of the kanban flow. The details of the activity relation to the downstream activity in the kanban flow are also displayed. Multiple predecessor activities are listed in the order of last to first.
Fields
Field |
Description |
---|---|
Last activity field group |
The activity and the referenced production flow version of the kanban flow. |
Receipt location field group |
The output warehouse and location of the work cell where the products are received. |
Target cycle time |
The average cycle time that is calculated for the activity based on the average cycle time of the production flow version. |
Activity |
The name of the predecessor activity. |
Production flow |
The production flow that is referenced by the predecessor activity. |
Version |
The production flow version. |
Minimum value |
The constraint value that is defined for the activity relation. The constraint between two activities defines the period of time that must elapse between the end of the first activity and the start of the downstream activity. A negative constraint defines an overlapping of the activities. For more information about constraints, see Create activity relation (form). |
Unit |
The unit of measure that is used to specify the constraint value. |
Ratio |
The cycle time ratio that is defined for the activity relation. |
