BOM line details (form)

Click Product information management > Common > Product configuration models. Select a product configuration model. On the Action pane click Edit. On the BOM lines FastTab, click BOM line details.

Note
Only items that have the Constraint-based configuration selected for their configuration technology in the Released product details form will be displayed when you access the form from the Subcomponents FastTab.
Use this form to set up value assignments for bill of material (BOM) line fields. Use the Item number at the top of the form to indicate whether the value of the selected line is determined by an item number or by an attribute.
Note
The value in the Quantity field on the Setup FastTab needs to be greater than 0 in order for the BOM to be generated during the product model configuration process. Similarly, if the Quantity field is set to 0 on the Setup FastTab for a subcomponent, the BOM and route related to the subcomponent will not be created during the product model configuration process.
Note
All attributes referenced in constraints and conditions must have a value in the product configuration model. You cannot save the product configuration if an attribute value is missing.

Select the Value option on the top of form to filter by item number in the Item number field. If the Attribute option on the top of the form is selected, then select the attribute in the Item number field. |

You can set the values for the Subcontractor, BOM, Project, Valid, Operation and Consumption fields based on a value or an attribute. If Attribute is selected, then the user will be able to select the value for the attribute during the product model configuration process. Setup |
You can set the values for the Consumption calculation, Rounding-up, and Measurement fields based on a value or an attribute. If Attribute is selected, then the user will be able to select the value for the attribute during the product model configuration process. A value could also be displayed during the product model configuration process, depending on the constraint. |
Dimension |
You can set the value for the Inventory dimensions fields based on a value or an attribute. If Attribute is selected, then the user will be able to select the value for the attribute during the product model configuration process. A value could also be displayed during the product model configuration process, depending on the constraint. |
