Post journal (class form)

Inventory and warehouse management > Journals. Click Movement, Inventory adjustment, Transfer, or Bills of materials. Click Post.
Use this form to post the lines of the current journal.
You can either post the lines immediately, or you can postpone posting by specifying that the lines should be posted in a batch job. You can also specify that lines with errors are to be transferred to a new journal.

Recurrence |
If you specify a batch process, you can set up recurrence patterns for batch jobs. For example, you can set up a job to process journal lines automatically at the end of every day. |
Alerts |
If you specify a batch process, you can set up an alert for the batch process to be notified when, for example, the batch process ends. |

Select this check box to post journal lines without errors during the posting process and to transfer lines with errors to a new journal. |
Batch processing |
Specify that posting of the journal lines should be performed in a batch process. |
Caption |
The journal of the lines that are posted. |
Batch group |
The batch group of the batch job. |
Private |
Specify that only the user who created the batch job task can run it. |
