Collections agents (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Accounts receivable > Setup > Collections > Collections agents.
Use this form to set up workers as collections agents and optionally assign customer pools to them. A collections agent is a person who works with customers to make sure that payments are collected in a timely manner. In Microsoft Dynamics AX, collections agents are workers that are set up as users in the User relations form. You can assign a customer pool to a collections agent. Customer pools are used to filter the customer accounts that each collections agent is responsible for when the collections agent uses the collections list pages. If you do not assign any customer pools to a collections agent, the collections agent has access to all customer information on the collections list pages.
Collections agents that are set up in this form are automatically added to a collections team. If a team is selected in the Team field in the Accounts receivable parameters form, collections agents are added to that team. If a team is not selected, a new team named Collections is created automatically and the collections agents are added to that team.
You selected three employees as collections agents in your organization. Each is responsible for different groups of customers, as shown in the following table.

Blank |
When ARNIE opens the Collections list page, the 90+ customer pool is the default filter. The S..Z customer pool is included in the filter list because it is assigned to ARNIE. The other customer pools will not appear in the filter list, because they are not assigned to ARNIE, and the Allow agent to view all customer pools check box is not selected.
