Edit the model details (form)

Click Product information management > Common > Product configuration models.. Select a product configuration model. On the Action pane, click Model properties.
Use this form to modify a product configuration model. You can base the new product configuration model on a new component or an existing component.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

The name of the selected product configuration model. You can change the name. |

A description of the selected product configuration model. You can change the description. |
Root component: |
The root component of the product configuration model. To change the root component, select one of the following options:

If you selected New component in the Root component: field, enter the name of the new component. If you selected Select existing component, select an existing component in the list. |
