Name history (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Depending on your version of the program, do one of the following:

  • In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2: Click Sales and marketing > Common > Customers > All customers. On the Customers list page, double-click a customer record. Right-click in the Name field, and select History.

  • Otherwise: Click Sales and marketing > Common > Customers > All customers. On the Customers list page, double-click a customer record. In the Customers form, on the General FastTab, click Change name. In the Name details form, click History.

Use this form to view or modify changes that have been made to the name of a party record.

Note

The information in this topic applies to all party types. You can open the History form from any party record.

Select this check box to allow changes to be made to the selected row.

Effective:

Enter the date and time when the selected name becomes effective.

Expiration:

Enter the date and time when the selected name is no longer effective.
