Click Inventory management > Setup > Posting > Dimension link.

Use this form to set up a financial dimension link with the site storage dimension. After you have set up the link, you can enable and also lock it.

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Tab	Description
General	Activate or deactivate and lock or unlock the financial dimension link.

Buttons

Button	Description
Sites	Opens the Sites form, where you can specify a financial dimension value for a site.
Activate link	Activates the financial dimension link.
Deactivate link	Deactivates the financial dimension link. The button is enabled only when the link is active.
Lock link	Locks the financial dimension link.
Unlock link	Unlocks the financial dimension link. The button is enabled only when the financial dimension link is locked.

Fields

Field	Description
Reference	Select the financial dimension to link to the site storage dimension. The Department dimension is selected by default, but you can change it. The dimension that you select appears as a column header on the Sites form. There, you can enter a financial dimension value to associate with a site.
Current status:	Indicates one of the following: The button states that the current status of the financial dimension link is inactive, and the color of the button is red. The button states that the current status of the financial dimension link is active, and the color of the button is yellow. The button states that the current status of the financial dimension link is locked, and the color of the button is green.

Reference

Select the financial dimension to link to the site storage dimension. The Department dimension is selected by default, but you can change it.
