AIF inbound pipelines (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click System administration > Setup > Services and Application Integration Framework > Inbound ports. Create or modify an enhanced integration port. Then, on the Processing options FastTab, click Inbound pipelines.

Specify or configure pipeline components for each service operation. Service operations that you selected in the Select service operations form are displayed in the left pane. Pipeline components for the currently selected service operation are displayed in the Pipeline components pane.

Important

You must select at least one service operation before you can add pipeline components.

The order of the items in the list of pipeline components corresponds to the order in which pipeline components are applied during processing.

Buttons

Button

Description

Add

Add a pipeline component to the selected service operation.

Remove

Remove a pipeline component from the selected service operation.

Configure

Open the configuration form for the selected pipeline component. When adding a new pipeline component, this button is available only after you complete the new entry, for example, after you click the forward button in the data grid controls.

Move up

Move the pipeline component higher in the list.

Move down

Move the pipeline component lower in the list.

Description

Service operation ID

The identifier of the service operation.

Class name

Select the name of the pipeline component class. This name matches the name of the class in the AOT.

Purpose

Enter the reason for using the pipeline component.
