New product configuration model (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Product information management > Common > Product configuration models. On the Action Pane, click Product configuration model.
Use this form to create a new product configuration model name and select if the product configuration model should be based on a new component or an existing component.

Root component: |
Select the root component of the product configuration model. The following options are available:

Name |
If you selected New component in the Root component: field, enter the name of the new component. If you selected Select existing component, select an existing component in the list. |
