Click Product information management > Periodic > Open product releases.

You can use this form to work with open product releases. An open product release is created when a product release is not completed. From this form, you can view open release sessions and display descriptions of why a product release could not be completed.

An incomplete release can, for example, occur in the following situations:

A product, product master or product variants already exist in the company that you attempt to release to.
You try to release a series of product variants to a company where the associated product master is not available.

Filters

Filter	Description
Release session	View open product release sessions by the creation date and by the person who initiated the release.

Buttons

Button	Description
Delete	Delete the current release session. Tip No product information is deleted when you delete a release session.
Release products	Execute the release session.
View infolog for a product or a product master	View details about why the product or the product master was not released. Tip If the Infolog field contains a Yes, there is a release issue that is related to the product or to the product master.
Product details	View or modify details of the product in the release session or create new products.
Released product details	View the product in the company that it was released to. Note If a product has not been released, the form that is opened is empty.
Remove	Remove selected product variants from the release session.
View infolog for the listed product variants	View details about why the product variants were not released. Tip If the Infolog field contains a Yes, there is a release issue that is related to the product variants.
Product variants	View all the product variants for the product master in the release session.
Released product variants	View the product variants that were released for the product master in the release session.

Fields

Fields	Description
Product number	The number of the product or the product master that was included in an open release session.
Product name	The name of the product or the product master that was included in an open release session.
Company	The company that the product was released to.
