Create planned order (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Master planning > Common > Planned orders. On the Action Pane, click Planned order.
Use this form to create the following types of documents:
Planned production order
Planned purchase order
Kanban
Planned transfer order

Select the type of planned order you want to create:

Select the plan that the planned order will affect. |
Item number |
Select the item number to create the planned order for. |
Product name |
Name of the selected item number. |
Inventory dimensions |
The inventory dimensions that display here depend on how inventory dimensions are set up. |
Req. quantity |
The quantity that is required for the planned order. |
Delivery date |
The requested delivery date of the planned order. |
Order date |
The latest order date or start date of the planned order. |
BOM number |
Note This field is only available when a planned production order is created. The bill of materials (BOM) that will be used when the planned production order is created. . |
Route number |
Note This field is only available when a planned production order is created. The route that will be used when the planned production order is created. |
Vendor |
Note This field is only available when a planned purchase order is created. The primary vendor of the planned purchase order. |
Name |
Note This field is only available when a planned purchase order is created. The name of the primary vendor. |
From warehouse |
Note This field is only available when a planned transfer order is created. The warehouse that the planned quantity will be transferred from. |
To warehouse |
Note This field is only available when a planned transfer order is created. The warehouse that the planned quantity will be transferred to. |
