Create planned order (form)

Click Master planning > Common > Planned orders. On the Action Pane, click Planned order.

Use this form to create the following types of documents:

  • Planned production order

  • Planned purchase order

  • Kanban

  • Planned transfer order

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Fields

Field

Description

Planned order type

Select the type of planned order you want to create:

  • Production order

  • Purchase order

  • Transfer order

  • Kanban

Plan

Select the plan that the planned order will affect.

Item number

Select the item number to create the planned order for.

Product name

Name of the selected item number.

Inventory dimensions

The inventory dimensions that display here depend on how inventory dimensions are set up.

Req. quantity

The quantity that is required for the planned order.

Delivery date

The requested delivery date of the planned order.

Order date

The latest order date or start date of the planned order.

BOM number

Note

This field is only available when a planned production order is created.

The bill of materials (BOM) that will be used when the planned production order is created. .

Route number

Note

This field is only available when a planned production order is created.

The route that will be used when the planned production order is created.

Vendor

Note

This field is only available when a planned purchase order is created.

The primary vendor of the planned purchase order.

Name

Note

This field is only available when a planned purchase order is created.

The name of the primary vendor.

From warehouse

Note

This field is only available when a planned transfer order is created.

The warehouse that the planned quantity will be transferred from.

To warehouse

Note

This field is only available when a planned transfer order is created.

The warehouse that the planned quantity will be transferred to.
