Configure selected item (form)

You can use the Configure line form to configure a product configuration model from a sales order, sales quotation, purchase order or production order. This form has a tree display that shows the product configuration model component structure. The tree display can be used for navigation. There is an attribute section that displays the attributes for the selected component and which allows you to select the attribute value.

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Sales orders > All sales orders. On the Action Pane, click Sales order to create a new sales order. On the Sales order lines FastTab, in the Item number field, select an item that has constraint-based configuration selected for Configuration technology in the Released product details form. On the sales order line, click Product and supply > Configure line.

Click Accounts payable > Common > Purchase orders > All purchase orders.. On the Action Pane, click Purchase order to create a new purchase order. On the Purchase order lines FastTab, in the Item number field, select an item that has constraint-based configuration selected for Configuration technology in the Released product details form. On the purchase order line, click Product and supply > Configure line.

Click Production control > Common > Production orders > All production orders. On the Action Pane, click Production order to create a new production order. On the Create production order form, in the Item number field, select an item that has constraint-based configuration selected for Configuration technology in the Released product details form. Click the Configure production button to open the Configure line form.

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Sales quotations > All quotations. On the Action Pane, click Sales quotation to create a new sales quotation. On the Lines FastTab, in the Item number field, select an item that has constraint-based configuration selected for Configuration technology in the Released product details form. On the sales quotation line, click Product and supply > Configure line.
