Customer pools (form)

Click Accounts receivable > Setup > Collections > Customer pools.
Use this form to set up customer pools, which are queries that define a group of customer accounts that can be displayed and managed for collections or aging processes. Use customer pools to filter information on the Collections list page and on related list pages. You also use customer pools to filter the customer accounts that are included when aging snapshots are created.
To create a pool that includes only customers whose balances are more than 1,000.00, click Select pool criteria and enter the following information:

Select pool criteria |
Open the Customer pools criteria form, where you can specify criteria for the query that is associated with the selected customer pool. For example, you might set up a query for the Customers table where the Name field criteria is A..K. For more information, see Advanced filtering and query options. |
Preview customer pool |
Open the Collections list page, where you can view the results of the query that is associated with the selected customer pool. |

Pool ID |
Enter an identifier for the customer pool, such as A..K. This identifier appears in filter lists for collections-related list pages. |
Pool description |
Enter a description of the customer pool, such as Customers A through K. This description appears in filter lists for collections-related list pages. |
Pool type |
Select the type of customer pool to create.
