Project management and accounting parameters (form) (Project Management and Accounting Add-in)

Click Project management and accounting > Setup > Project management and accounting parameters.
Use this form to set up project parameters. Project parameters define the following information:
The number sequence for billing rules, customer retention terms, vendor retention terms, and project identifiers. The names and number sequences are created by the system administrator.
Percentages that are used to measure the match between a worker’s capabilities and skills and the requirements of a project or activity.
Colors that are used on a scheduling calendar.
The optional text to print on purchase orders for vendor retentions and pay-when-paid contract terms.

These controls are available only if the Project Management and Accounting Add-in is installed.

Scheduling |
Enter percentages that are used to measure the match between a worker’s capabilities and skills and the requirements for a project or activity. |
Number sequences |
Set up number sequences for project documents. |
Vendor contract language |
Select a language. The vendor retention and pay-when-paid terms from a vendor contract are printed in the selected language when you print a purchase order to send to the vendor. You can specify a language for a vendor, a vendor group, or all vendors. |

Full match percent |
Enter the percentage that represents a full match between a worker’s skills and the requirements for the selected project. A higher percentage means that the worker’s capabilities and skills more closely match the project requirements. |
Default calendar |
Select the default type of calendar to use for the project or activity schedule. The schedule is the time frame when workers are working on the project. |
Skill set match |
Enter the minimum percentage match of capabilities between a worker and a project or an activity for the worker to appear as a potential resource for a project. |
Availability match |
Enter the minimum percentage match of availability between worker and a project or an activity for the worker to appear as a potential resource for a project. |
Colors section |
Click the arrow next to each field in this section to open the Color form, where you can select the colors that appear in the scheduling calendar. Select a color for the following fields:

Billing rule fee journal |
Select the default fee journal to use to post per-unit fee transactions. |
Billing rule |
The reference name for the billing rule number sequence. |
Number sequence code |
Select Billing rule to set the number sequence code for billing rules. |
Vendor retention terms |
The reference name for the number sequence for vendor payment retention terms. |
Customer retention terms |
The reference name for the number sequence for customer payment retention terms. |
Account code |
Select the vendor or group of vendors for a language, from the following options:

Vendor account |
If you select Table in the Account code field, select a vendor. |
Vendor group |
If you select Group in the Account code field, select a vendor group. |
Vendor retention contract language |
Enter text for printing a description of vendor retention terms on a purchase order. |
Pay when paid contract language |
Enter text for printing a description of pay-when-paid terms on a purchase order. |
