Create fixed quantity kanbans (form)

Click Production control > Setup > Lean manufacturing > Kanban rules. Select a kanban rule that uses the replenishment strategy Fixed. On the Kanbans tab, click Add.
Use this form to create and print kanbans for a selected fixed kanban rule. The form displays the current number of active kanbans, and it also displays the number of kanbans that are required to meet the kanban quantity of the rule. As an option, you can create single use kanbans. Create single use kanbans to fulfill exceptional demand or to ensure the availability of material for dependent production during production equipment maintenance.
When you create kanbans, they are displayed on the Kanbans tab of the Kanban rules form. A job is created for each activity of the kanban flow, and the created jobs are displayed in the kanban boards. The jobs are ready for additional processing.

The fixed kanban quantity that is entered on the kanban rule. |
Number of new kanbans |
Enter the number of kanbans to create for the kanban rule. |
Print new kanbans |
Select the check box to print the kanban cards for the new kanbans. This is usually recommended when you use single use cards. By default, this check box is selected when the kanban rule is configured with a printing policy that prints kanban cards when kanbans are created. |
