Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click System administration > Setup > Security > Security roles.
Use this form to create or modify security roles. All users must be assigned to at least one security role to have access to Microsoft Dynamics AX. The security roles assigned to a user determine which duties the user can perform and which parts of the user interface the user can view.
Warning
If security is administered in multiple languages in your implementation, we recommend using the Label editor in the developer workspace to modify name and description labels. By using the Label editor, you can create labels in multiple languages.
