Leads (form)

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Leads > All leads. In the All leads form, double-click an existing lead. Or, on the Action Pane, on the Lead tab, in the New group, click Lead to create a new lead record.
Use this form to maintain information about leads.

On the Contacts tab, open the record for the selected contact, where you can view more information about the contact. On the Associations tab, open the selected associated record, such as a campaign record or an opportunity record. |

Lead ID |
The unique identification number that is assigned to the lead. |
Subject |
Enter the subject or interest of the lead. |
Name |
Enter the name of the lead. |
Status |
Select the current status of the lead. |
Qualifying process |
Select the qualifying process for the lead. |
Owner |
Select the worker who is responsible for the lead. |
Type |
Select the type of the lead. |
Priority |
Select the priority of the lead. The priority indicates how important it is to your organization that the lead be converted to a customer. |
Rating |
Select a rating for the lead. The rating indicates the probability that the lead may become an opportunity or a customer. |
Sales unit |
The sales unit that is responsible for the lead record. |
Source type |
Select how the lead was acquired. |
Source ID |
Select the identification number of the source of the lead. |
Address |
View the formatted information for the selected address. This is the address that will appear on a printed document. The original address record may contain information that is not included in this view, depending on the specific country/region format. |
Purpose |
View the purpose of the selected address. For example, the address may be used for deliveries only, or for deliveries and services. |
Primary |
View whether the address is primary. A primary address is the principal postal address for the selected party. A primary address can also be the default address for the party. |
Private |
View whether the address is private. If the address is marked as private, you must be assigned to the appropriate role to view the address. |
Type |
Select the type of communication method. |
Contact number/address |
Enter the contact's telephone number or address, such as a mobile phone number or an e-mail address. |
Primary |
If this check box is selected, the contact information is primary. Primary contact information is the principal form of communication for the selected party. To select or clear this check box, click More options and then select Advanced. |
Contact ID |
The unique identification number of the contact. |
Name |
Select the name of the contact. |
Contact for: |
The organization that the contact is the contact for. For a lead, the contact is usually someone in the lead’s organization. For example, if you have a lead for a company that is named Contoso, and one of Contoso's contacts is Eran Heral, Eran Heral is the contact for Contoso. |
Telephone |
The telephone number of the contact. |
Type |
Select the type of record that you want to associate with the lead. |
ID |
The unique identification number of the associated record. |
Description |
The name of the association. For example, if the association is an opportunity record, the description consists of the name of the organization that the opportunity record was created for. |
Date opened |
Select the date that the lead was opened. |
Opened by |
Select the identification number of the worker who opened the lead. |
Date closed |
The date that the lead was closed. |
Closed by |
The identification number of the worker who closed the lead. |
Reason |
Select the reason that the lead was closed. |
