(PM) Journal lines, Inventory movement (form)

Click Inventory management > Journals > Item transactions > Movement. On the Inventory journal form select a journal and click Lines.

Use this form to move items from one inventory to another. When you post this type of journal, an inventory receipt or issue is posted, the inventory level and value are changed, and ledger transactions are generated. At a minimum, you must specify the following information:

  • Transaction date

  • Item number

  • Quantity

  • CW quantity

  • Cost price

  • Offset account in the general ledger

  • Configuration table of the item, if applicable

  • Dimensions that you set up as primary storage dimensions for the item. This setup is done in the Storage dimension groups form in Product information management.

Click Functions and select Reset batch disposition code. The Reset batch disposition code form is displayed, and you can view or change the disposition code and status for the item.

CW quantity

Enter the quantity, stated in catch weight units, which you want to modify.

CW unit

The unit of measure that is used with the catch weight.
