(PM) Transfer orders (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Inventory management > Periodic > Transfer orders. Select the line item. Then click Inventory and select Transactions.
Use this form to manage items in transit. Process manufacturing ensures that these items are unavailable for use during transportation by registering them at a transit warehouse during the transfer period. You can ship and receive whole or part order lines.

CW transfer quantity |
The quantity in catch weight units you want to transfer. |
CW unit |
The catch weight unit of measure. |
CW Shipped |
The quantity in catch weight units that have been shipped. |
CW ship remain |
The remaining quantity in catch weight units to be shipped after the last shipment update. |
CW ship now |
Enter a value to update the shipment quantity in catch weight units for the transfer order line. In the Shipments form, select Ship now from the Update list to update the transfer order with this quantity. |
CW received |
The total transfer quantity in catch weight units that was received, including scrap. This field is updated after each Receive update. |
CW scrapped qty |
The transfer quantity in catch weight units that has been scrapped. |
CW receive remain |
This quantity corresponds to the number of catch weight items that have not been received at the To warehouse. The quantity in the CW receive remain field is automatically updated every time that you run a Receive update. |
CW receive now |
Enter a value in this field to update the receipt quantity in catch weight units for a transfer order line. In the Receive form, select Receive now from the Update list to update the transfer order line with this quantity. |
