Translation (form)

Click Organization administration > Setup > Addresses > Translation.

Use this form to set up or view translations for countries/regions, address and contact information purposes, and name sequences.

Tasks that use this form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Filter	Description
Language	Select the language that you want to view or enter translations for. For example, select es-c for Spanish (Chile) to translate text from your organization’s default language into Spanish (Chile).

Link	Description
Country/region	View or add translations of country/region information.
Address and contact information purpose	View or add translations of purposes and descriptions for address and contact information.
Name sequences	View or add translations of name sequence information.

Field	Description
Country/region	The country/region code.
Short name	The short name of the country/region in the selected language. For example, in English, the short name for the Republic of Albania is Albania.
Long name	The long name of the country/region in the selected language. For example, in English, the long name for Albania is the Republic of Albania.
Purpose	The purpose for the address or contact information. For example, a payment address or a delivery address.
Description	The purpose for the address or contact information in the selected language.
Name sequence	The display format for the names of people.
Description	The name sequence in the selected language.
