Date effective policies for role (form)

Click System administration > Setup > Security > Security roles. Right-click a role, and then select Date effective policies for role.

Use this form to change a role’s access to data that has an effective date. You can specify access to data that is effective on a past, current, or future date.

You can select one of the following access levels:

  • No access – Users in the role do not have access to the specified type of data.

  • View – Users in the role can view the specified type of data in tables and fields, but they cannot add or change data.

  • Edit – Users in the role can change current data in forms, tables, and fields.

  • Create – Users in the role can create the specified type of data, but they cannot delete data.

  • Correction – Users in the role can correct past, current, and future data.

  • Full control – Users in the role can view, create, and delete the specified type of data.
