Click System administration > Setup > Business intelligence > Analysis Services > Date dimensions.

Use this form to create date dimensions. You can use date dimensions to analyze the data in a cube by various time periods, such as months, quarters, or weeks.

Name

Enter a name for the date dimension.

BI dimension label

Enter a label for the date dimension.

Start date

Enter a starting date for the date range. The date range that you define determines the records that you can analyze by using cubes.

End date

Enter an ending date for the date range. The date range that you define determines the records that you can analyze by using cubes.

From month

Select the first month of your calendar.

First day of week

Select the first day of the week.

Include

Select the date hierarchies by which to analyze data.
