POS visual profiles (form)

Click Retail > Setup > POS > Profiles > Visual profiles.
Use this form to set up visual profiles. You can create several visual profiles and select specific profiles to run on specific registers.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Login background |
Select an image to display as the background on the logon screen of the point-of-sale screen. |
Background |
Select a picture to be displayed as the background on the Retail POS screen. This control is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is installed. |

Profile number |
Enter a unique number for the visual profile. |
Description |
Enter a description of the visual profile. |
Application type |
Select the type of point-of-sale application that will use the visual profile. This control is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is installed. |
Image ID |
Select an image to display as the background on the logon screen of the point-of-sale screen. |
Image ID |
Select a picture to be displayed as the background on the Retail POS screen. This control is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is installed. |
Full screen mode |
Select this check box to use the full screen to display the profile. |
Screen height |
Select a height for the profile. The screen height must be at least 768 pixels. |
Screen width |
Select a width for the profile. The screen width must be at least 1024 pixels. |
Theme |
Select a visual theme for Retail POS. Each theme is a set of coordinated colors for the point-of-sale screen. Note This control is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed. |
Accent color |
Select an accent color to use with the selected theme. This control is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is installed. |
Font scheme |
Select a font scheme, either Standard or Large. This affects the size of the text on the Retail POS screen. This control is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is installed. |
Design allowed on POS |
Select this check box to allow a store to modify the profile design on a register. |
Hide cursor |
Select this check box to hide the pointer for this profile. |
