Add tables/fields (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click System administration > Setup > Security > Security roles. Select a role, and then click Override permissions. Click Add tables/fields.

Use this form to override the level of access that a role has to a table or field.

By default, access to fields is specified by the duties and privileges that are assigned to a role. When you override the level of access that a role has to a field, the duties and privileges that are assigned to that role are not changed. The level of access to the field is set for the role, regardless of the access levels that are specified by the duties and privileges that are assigned to that role.
