Fixed increase budgets (form)

Click Human resources > Periodic > Compensation > Fixed increase budgets.
Use this form to specify a general fixed increase budget for departments. For example, use this form to budget for a five percent increase for Department ABC. You can also create fixed increase budgets that are specific to employees who are associated with a union or a location that is represented within the department.
Navigating the form
The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Enter a name for the budget. |
Effective date |
Select the date when the budget is effective. |
Expiration date |
Select the date when the budget is no longer effective. |
Department |
Select the department that the budget applies to. |
Labor union |
Select a labor union to set up the budget as a union-specific budget. |
Location |
Select a location to set up the budget as a location-specific budget. |
Currency |
Select the currency for the amount in the Actual budget field. |
Actual budget |
Enter the total amount budgeted for the fixed merit increase. |
Increase percent |
Enter a recommended merit increase percentage for employees who are associated with the department or with a specific union or location. |
