(CHN) Number sequences - Additions (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click Organization administration > Common > Number sequences > Number sequences. Click Number sequence or double-click an existing number sequence to open the Number sequences form. On the Scope parameters FastTab, in the Scope field, select Legal entity. In the Legal entity field, select a company whose primary address is in China. Click Additions.

Use this form to restart the numbering of Chinese vouchers from the first of each accounting period.

Specify a number sequence for the selected record.

The identification code for the number sequence.

The description of how and where the number sequence is used.

Restart numbering for each period

Select this check box to restart the numbering for each accounting period for the Chinese number sequence. For example, the number sequence for voucher type Rec starts the numbering at 001 for March 2012. If voucher type Rec is also used to create vouchers in April 2012, the numbering again starts at 001.

Note

Numbers cannot be duplicated during a single accounting period. Numbers can be duplicated for the number sequence that falls between two different accounting periods.
