Use this form to view the balances in the PLA accounts for each excise component for the criteria selected in the Excise registers balance inquiry form.

Open the form

  1. Click General ledger > Inquiries > Tax > India posted tax > Excise > Excise register balance.

  2. Enter the required details, and then click OK to open the Excise balance form.

  3. Click PLA balance to open the PLA balance form.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tax ledger posting group

The tax ledger posting group selected in the Excise registers balance inquiry form.

ECC number

The Excise Control Code (ECC) selected in the Excise registers balance inquiry form.

Date

The transaction date.

(PLA)

Opening balance

The beginning balance in the PLA accounts on the selected date for the selected criteria.

(PLA)

Transfer

The amount transferred to the PLA accounts on the selected date for the selected criteria.

(PLA)

Balance available

The total balance amount in the PLA accounts on the selected date for the selected criteria.

Tax Component

The name of the tax component.

Opening balance

The opening balance for each tax component in the PLA accounts.

Transfer

The amount transferred to the PLA accounts for each tax component.

Balance available

The balance amount for each tax component in the PLA accounts.
