(IND) Tax adjustment (form)

Use this form to verify the tax setoff rule, to view and adjust the tax amounts for the tax components.

Open the form

  1. Click General ledger > Periodic > Sales tax payments > Sales tax payments.

  2. Select a tax registration group, a registration number, and a settlement period.

  3. Click Tax adjustment.

Transactions

Open the Transactions form to view the selected transactions that are posted to the recoverable account and the payable account for the tax component.

Adjustments

Open the Adjustment form to manually adjust the recoverable tax amounts to specific tax components.

Fields

Field

Description

Tax component

The name of the tax component for the transactions which is a part of the tax registration group that is selected in the Sales tax payment form.

Recoverable amount

The recoverable amount of the tax component for the selected period.

Adjustment

The adjusted amount of the tax component for the selected period.

Payable amount

The payable amount of the tax component for the selected period.

Balance

The balance amount of the tax component, which is the sum of the recoverable amount and the adjusted amount, minus the excise payable amount.
