Materials - job list (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click Production control > Periodic > Manufacturing execution > Edit job list. Select a production unit, and then select either a resource group in the Select a resource group field or a resource in the table. Depending on the selection, click Open resource group or Open resource. On the Action Pane, click Materials.

Use this form to view the following information:

  • Materials that are used by the operation that is associated with the selected job transaction.

  • Materials that are used by every operation that is included in the production order.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Manage materials

View materials that are used in the operation that is associated with the selected job. You can select the item number in the list or enter it manually. You can also verify the estimated consumption, the quantity that was delivered, and the actual physical quantity that is available for current inventory dimensions.

View materials that are used by the operation that is associated with the selected job transaction.

View materials that are used by every operation that is included in the production order.

Transactions

Open the Inventory transactions form, where you can view inventory transactions for the bill of materials (BOM) line that is related to the selected job.

Output orders

Open the Output orders form, where you can view information about output orders that have been created for the selected job.

Description

Oper. No.

The step in the production sequence where the item is used.

Item number

The item number for the product that is consumed in the production. The product type can be Item or Service. The same item number can be used more than once in the production BOM.

Product name

The descriptive name of the product.

Site

The site dimension. This is where the production of the item occurs.

Estimated

The cost-estimated quantity of items, in the inventory unit, that is included in the production. The consumption is calculated when the estimation is run.

Released

The quantity of the item, in the inventory unit, that has been released to production.

Available physical

The available quantity in the physical inventory that has not been reserved.

Output order status

The status of the related output order.
