Event processing results (form)

Click Human resources > Periodic > Benefits > Eligibility events. Select an event. In the Action Pane, in the View group, click Show results.

Use this form to see the results of an eligibility event.

This form is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.

Update enrollment period	You can change the first day of the enrollment period and the number of days in the enrollment period. If you change the enrollment period, it will not affect the coverage dates. It will only affect the days when the worker can sign up for the benefit.
Remove	If a worker was found eligible for a benefit, but should not have been, you should review the eligibility rules, make any necessary changes to the worker and position attributes, and process the eligibility event again. However, if there is an exception, you can remove the row that contains the worker and the benefit from the grid. The worker will not be able to enroll in the benefit based on this eligibility event. Note Removing the worker from the results of an eligibility event will not prevent the worker from enrolling in a benefit based on the results of future eligibility events.

Note

Removing the worker from the results of an eligibility event will not prevent the worker from enrolling in a benefit based on the results of future eligibility events.

Fields

Fields	Information
Event Description	The name and description of the eligibility event.
Event type	The Test event type lets you determine that the eligibility rules are producing the results that you expect. When you process a Test event, you can inspect the results of the eligibility process, but you cannot use the results to enroll workers into benefits.
Coverage start date	The date that is used by the eligibility process to determine eligibility for benefits. For example, your open enrollment event might have a coverage start date of January 1, 2015. For a worker to be eligible for a benefit, the benefit must be active on that date, and the worker must meet all the eligibility requirements for the benefit on that date. If a non-management worker will be promoted to a management position on February 1, 2015, they will not be eligible for management-only benefits for the open enrollment event with a coverage start date of January 1, 2015. Important If you change this date after the event has been processed, all of the results associated with the event are deleted.
Enrollment period start date	The first day of the period when a worker can enroll in benefits. For open enrollment periods, this is usually a month or more before the Coverage start date. For eligibility events that result from a qualified life event, it might be the same as the Coverage start date.
Days to enroll	The number of calendar days in the enrollment period.
Enrollment period end date	The last day of the period when a worker can enroll in benefits.
Last processed	The most recent date when this event was processed. Important If you change the Coverage start date after the event has been processed, the value in this field is deleted.

Columns

Columns	Information
Legal entity	The legal entity that the eligibility rules for the selected worker and benefit were defined for. Some workers might have positions in more than one legal entity. In such cases, if the worker is found eligible for the benefit in one legal entity, the worker will be considered eligible for the benefit, even if the worker is not eligible in a different legal entity.
Worker	The worker for whom benefit eligibility was determined.
Benefit	The benefit plan and option for which eligibility was determined.
Eligible Status detail	Workers are eligible for a benefit if they meet the criteria specified in the benefit eligibility rule, or if they have an eligibility override for the benefit. Eligibility overrides are set up in the Benefits form. The Status detail provides a brief explanation of the reason that a worker is not eligible for the benefit.
