(IND) Merge EPCG licenses (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click General ledger > Common > EXIM EPCG Schemes. In the EXIM EPCG Schemes list, select the EPCG schemes that you want to merge, click Functions, and then click Merge.

Use this form to merge Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) licenses in Microsoft Dynamics AX. After you merge the licenses here, you can apply to the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) to merge the licenses.

The EPCG licenses that you want to merge must meet the following conditions:

  • The issue dates of the licenses must fall within the same fiscal period.

  • The status of the licenses must be Approved.

  • The port IDs of the licenses must be the same.

  • The license status of the licenses must be either Original or Domestic. You cannot merge a combination of original and domestic licenses.

Open the Create export obligation periods form, where you can create export obligation periods for the merged EPCG license.

Fields

Merge license to

Select the authorization ID to merge with. All the fields are updated for the selected authorization ID.

License number

The EPCG license number that was issued by the license authority.

Issue date/time

The date and time that the license was issued.

Annual average

The annual average value to use to derive the export obligation.

Currency

The base currency for the EPCG license.

Import value

The import cost, insurance, and freight (CIF) value that is used to calculate the export obligation amount.

Basis

The basis for calculating the export obligation for the EPCG license. The basis can be FOB, NFE, or Duty saved.

CIF factor

The CIF factor that is used to calculate the export obligation.

Note

This field is updated based on the value that is specified in the CIF factor field in the Export obligation field group in the Incentive scheme parameters form.

Obligation period

The period interval for export obligation.

Note

This field is updated based on the value that is specified in the Period field in the Export obligation field group in the Incentive scheme parameters form.

Export obligation amount

The export obligation amount, based on the following calculation:

Import value * CIF factor

Note

This field is available only when FOB or NFE is selected in the Basis field.

Realized invoices

Select this check box to indicate that all fully settled invoices that have this EPCG license number must be considered for the export obligation.

Currency pct

The current applicable tax rate to use to calculate the export obligation.

Note

The Duty field group is available only when Duty saved is selected in the Basis field.

Pct. to be levied

The reduced applicable tax rate to use to calculate the export obligation. You can view this information in the Duty saved pct. field.

In the Export obligation amount field, view the export obligation amount for duty saved. This field displays the export obligation amount for duty saved based on the following calculation:

Export obligation amount = (Duty saved pct. * Import value/100) * CIF factor

Duty saved pct.

The saved tax rate to use to calculate the export obligation.
