(LVA) Value models setup (modified form)

Click Fixed assets > Setup > Value models.

Use this form to create and maintain value models that are used for categories to calculate fixed assets tax depreciation. Value models are used as tax categories.

Description

Tax coefficients

Set up tax coefficients that are relevant for each fixed asset that is associated with the tax category.

Note

Value model is referred to as category.

Summarize for category

Select this check box to calculate depreciation for the total amount of fixed assets that have that category (value model) selected in the Category field on the Fixed assets form. You can view tax depreciation for tax category or a fixed asset in the Tax depreciation details form.

Starting year

Enter the year that the coefficient will be used to adjust the acquisition amount of the fixed asset.

Tax depreciation coefficient

Enter the coefficient that will be used to calculate acquisition adjustments for the fixed asset.
