Click Accounts receivable > Periodic > Sales book > Sales books journal. Select a journal line, and then click Totals.

Click Accounts payable > Periodic > Purchase book > Purchase books journal. Select a journal line, and then click Totals.

Use this form to view a sales or purchase taxable amounts for domestic and export transactions at a standard rate or an export rate.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Base amount (not liable to VAT) 
(In the Domestic VAT field group)

The sales amount in the domestic market that is taxable at a standard or reduced rate.

Amount incl. VAT 
(In the Domestic VAT field group)

The sales amount in the domestic market that is taxable, and that is inclusive of value-added tax (VAT).

Base amount (not liable to VAT) 
(In the Export VAT field group)

The sales amount that is incurred from exports that are taxable.

Amount incl. VAT 
(In the Export VAT field group)

The sales amount that is incurred from exports that are taxable, and that is inclusive of VAT at a rate of zero percent.

Amount incl. VAT 
(In the Total with VAT field group)

The total amount of domestic and export sales transactions.

Base amount (not liable to VAT) 
(In the VAT restoration field group)

The sales amount that is incurred from VAT restoration on exports that are taxable.

Amount incl. VAT 
(In the VAT restoration field group)

The sales amount that is incurred from VAT restoration on exports that are taxable, and that is inclusive of VAT at a standard or reduced rate.

Base amount (not liable to VAT)

The purchase amount that is not taxable.

Amount incl. VAT

The purchase amount that is inclusive of VAT.
