(RUS) Warehouses (modified form)

Click Inventory management > Setup > Inventory breakdown > Warehouses.
Use this form to create warehouses for use in inventory transactions. A warehouse is an inventory dimension in Microsoft Dynamics AX and usually represents the physical location of a facility that serves a particular function, such as a spare-parts warehouse. To attach locations to each warehouse, click Functions, and then click Location Wizard.

General |
View information about a specific warehouse. You can also create a new warehouse or change information for an existing warehouse. |
Retail |
Set up the default inventory dimensions that apply to retail transactions. When the warehouse is assigned to a retail store, the storage dimension values for the warehouse are applied by default when sales orders are generated, or when the store statements are processed. |

Select the identification code for the customs authority that the warehouse is associated with. |
Type |
Select the Goods shipped warehouse type to specify that the warehouse stores shipped items. |
Warehouse for items shipped |
Select the identification code of the warehouse that is used to store items that are shipped with postponed passing of property. |
Kind of activity |
Select an option for the activity type for the inventory profile, from the following options:

Inventory profile |
Select the inventory profile for purchase agreements. |
Default inventory profile |
Select the inventory profile for the warehouse. The inventory profile that is assigned to the retail store’s default warehouse is applied to any sales transactions that include products that require an inventory profile. The default inventory profile is included in the statement for the store when it is calculated and posted. Note This control is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed. |
