Map Embedded Point Properties Dialog Box, General

Select General on the Map Embedded Point Properties dialog box or Map Embedded Polygon Center Point Properties to change the display or data options for the selected point or polygon center point. For a selected point, these options override options that were set on the Map Point Properties Dialog Box, General page or by color, size, or marker type rules. For a selected polygon center point, these options override options that were set on the Map Polygon Properties Dialog Box, General page or by color, size, or marker type rules.

Options

  • Override the point layer default values
    Select this option to change the display options for this point.

  • Change data field values
    Use this section to change values for embedded data.

  • Name
    The read-only name of the embedded data field.

  • Value
    Type a value for the data field. When you change this value, you are changing the data that is embedded in the report definition. The original data is not preserved.
