This section describes concepts about backing up and restoring the servers and data on a Windows SBS network.
Before you can back up the server or data on a Windows SBS network, you need to configure the server to perform backups. For more information, see Configuring Backup in Windows Small Business Server.
After you configure the server for backups, you can manage backup tasks by using the Manage Small Business Server Backup taskpad in Server Management. For more information, see Managing Backups in Windows Small Business Server.
After a system failure or a disaster, you can restore your system from your most recent backup. For more information, see Restoring Windows Small Business Server and Your Data.
