Internet Protocol Address resource type

You use the Internet Protocol (IP) Address resource type to manage IP network addresses as cluster resources. When an IP Address resource is included in a group with a Network Name resource, the group can be accessed by network clients as a virtual server.

For more information on virtual servers, see Virtual servers.
