Connect to Another Terminal Server by Using Terminal Services Configuration

In Windows Server 2008 you can use Terminal Services Configuration to configure the settings on the local terminal server or to connect to another terminal server and configure the settings for that terminal server remotely.

Important

You can only use Terminal Services Configuration in Windows Server 2008 to configure a terminal server running Windows Server 2008.

To connect to another terminal server by using Terminal Services Configuration

  1. Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, point to Terminal Services, and then click Terminal Services Configuration.

  2. On the Action menu, click Connect to Terminal Server.

  3. In the Select Computer dialog box, select Another Computer, type the name of the computer in the box, and then click OK.
