Working with the Data Window (Reporting Services)

Use the Data window to organize and view data sources, datasets and their field collections, report parameters, images, and global collections. You can create new or change existing data sources and report datasets. You can add images, define report parameters, and view built-in global collections to use in an expression. You can drag items from the Data window onto report items on the design surface, which then builds a combination of data and layout information that is saved as the .rdl file.
