ASP.NET pages are returned as static files

If you installed IIS 6.0 without installing ASP.NET, ASP.NET files can be returned as static files. This error can also occur if you reinstalled IIS 6.0 without reregistering ASP.NET. To learn how to remedy this error, see ASP.NET IIS Registration Tool and use the i option.
