Status Message Viewer Window

Aplica-se a: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

Use the Configuration Manager 2007 Status Message Viewer window to view the status messages in a Configuration Manager 2007 database. You can control the amount of information you view by using queries and filters. You can also view status messages from child sites of the current Configuration Manager 2007 site as these are sent to the parent site.

You can modify how messages are displayed in the status message viewer window and which messages are displayed, for example:

  • Sort the items in a column by clicking the column heading.

  • Change the order of columns by dragging column headings.

  • Add or remove columns by clicking View, Options and then clicking the Columns tab.

  • Change the width of columns by dragging column separators. Any item that is too wide for the current column width ends in ellipses (...). The full item is shown in a box that appears when you point to the item.

  • Change the messages that are displayed by running a query from the query list.

  • Change the messages that are displayed by using a filter.

If there are many messages, it might take a moment for them to be loaded into the status message viewer window. You can view the first messages while the others are being loaded, but any operations such as finding, sorting, or querying are suspended until all messages are loaded.
