How to Unassign Configuration Baselines in Desired Configuration Management

To unassign configuration baselines from clients in Configuration Manager 2007, delete the assignment from the configuration baseline properties.

To unassign a configuration baseline from a collection

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System CenterConfiguration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Desired Configuration Management / Configuration Baselines.

  2. Right-click the configuration baseline that you want to unassign, and click Properties.

  3. In the Assignments tab, select the assignment you want to remove and click Delete.

  4. Click OK.
