The Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer allows you to filter the display of status messages to reduce the results shown on screen. Filtering affects only results currently shown in ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer; it does not cause the site database to be searched for new results.

noteNota
You must have Configuration Manager 2007 Modify permission for the Site security object class or instance and Manage permission for the Manage Status Filters Site security object class or instance to perform this procedure.

How to filter status messages

  1. In ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer, click the filter button to open the Filter Status Messages dialog box.

  2. In the Filter Status Messages dialog box, specify the filter options you want to use.

  3. Click OK to close the Filter Status Messages dialog box.
