Aplica-se a: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

You can specify how Configuration Manager 2007 clients interact and obtain content from packages referenced by the task sequence on the Distribution Points page.

This page contains the elements described in the following table.

Term Definition

Download content locally when needed by running task sequence

Configures the Cliente do Gestor de configuração to download files as needed to complete the task sequence. Only files that are not already present on the target computer will be downloaded.

Download all contents locally before starting task sequence

Configures the Cliente do Gestor de configuração to download all of the necessary installation files locally before initiating the installation. All of the files will be downloaded and stored in the client cache prior to running the task sequence.

Access content directly from a distribution point when needed by the running task sequence

Configures the Cliente do Gestor de configuração to run the task sequence installation from a distribution point. The task sequence will access and install the necessary files and applications over the network.

When no local distribution point is available, use a remote distribution point

Allows the Cliente do Gestor de configuração to use a remote distribution point if no local distribution point is available. All programs and files referenced with the task sequence must be available on a distribution point accessible by the Cliente do Gestor de configuração or the task sequence will fail.

When no protected distribution point is available, use an unprotected distribution point

Specifies whether Configuration Manager 2007 will permit a client to use an unprotected distribution point if content is not immediately available on its protected distribution point, or if it forces a client to use the protected local distribution point if it is within the boundaries for that point. This option is selected by default.

If this checkbox is selected, a client will use distribution points based on the following criteria:

  • If a protected distribution point with the content provisioned exists, the client will not use unprotected distribution points.

  • If a protected distribution with the content provisioned does not exist, the client will use unprotected distribution points.

If the check box is cleared, the client will use an unprotected distribution point only if the content has not been sent to any protected distribution point.

noteNota
All programs and files referenced by the task sequence must be available on a distribution point accessible by the Cliente do Gestor de configuração or the task sequence will fail.
