Internet E-mail Properties: Internet E-mail

Use the Internet E-mail Properties tab of the Configuration Manager 2007 configuration item properties dialog box to specify the properties of the Internet e-mail settings to distribute to mobile devices.

Specify the settings to distribute to mobile devices.

E-mail type
Specifies the Internet e-mail type. Supported Internet e-mail types include IMAP4 and POP3.

Service name
Specifies the name of the Internet e-mail service displayed to the client.

Incoming e-mail server
Specifies the URL or IP address of the incoming e-mail server. This value must be alphanumeric.

Outgoing e-mail server
Specifies the domain name or IP address of the outgoing e-mail server. This value must be alphanumeric.

Domain
Specifies the domain associated with the Internet e-mail account.

Friendly user name
Specifies the friendly user name of the Internet e-mail settings and can be alphanumeric with common symbols.

User name
Specifies the user name for the Internet e-mail account.

OK
Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.

Cancel
Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.

Apply
Saves the changes and remains in the dialog box.

Help
Opens the help topic for this tab of the dialog box.
