Start the Remote Desktops Snap-in

Applies To: Windows Server 2008

You can open the Remote Desktops snap-in from the Start menu or from the Microsoft Management Console (MMC).

To open Remote Desktops from the Start menu

  • Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, point to Terminal Services, and then click Remote Desktops.

To open Remote Desktops from the MMC

  1. Click Start, click Run, type mmc in the Open box, and then click OK.

  2. On the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in.

  3. In the Available snap-ins list, click Remote Desktops, and then click Add.

  4. Click OK.
