How to Edit Checkpoint Properties

Use the following procedure to modify the name or description of a checkpoint and to view the hardware configuration of a checkpoint.
To modify the properties and view the hardware configuration of a checkpoint
In Virtual Machines view, navigate to the host on which the virtual machine is deployed.
In the results pane, select the virtual machine, and then, on the Actions pane, click Manage checkpoints.
In the Available checkpoints tree, click a checkpoint, and then click Properties.
In the Properties dialog box for the checkpoint, on the General tab, modify the checkpoint name or description. To view the hardware configuration properties of the checkpoint, click the Hardware Configuration tab.
Note
The hardware configuration properties of the checkpoint show the hardware configuration of the virtual machine at the time the checkpoint was created and cannot be modified.
