Move the User Scripts and Profiles

In this task, you manually move scripts, roaming profiles, redirected folders, and home directories from your existing servers to the Management Server in Windows EBS. When you install Windows EBS, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) does not automatically replicate and update all of this data.

You are not required to move this data. Moving this data does not take any of your domain controllers offline, prevent users from logging on, or interrupt service.

Before you can move the data, you must first complete the following task:

Migrate DNS

For instructions about how to move this data from your Active Directory environment to Windows EBS, see the whitepaper on the Microsoft Web site (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=95824).
