HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NWCWorkstation\Parameters\Option

Description

The SID subkeys represent particular users.

The SID subkey is named for the security identifier (SID) of the user. It stores data about a specific user for the Client Service for NetWare, which uses the data internally. The data in each SID subkey applies only to the user that the SID represents.

Note

  • The SID subkey is a variable representing the subkeys names for the SIDs in the HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NWCWorkstation\Parameters\Option subkey. It does not actually appear in the registry. This variable subkey displays the subkeys and entries that are common to many of the subkeys in Logon. The actual SID subkeys in your registry are specific to your system and its users.

  • This subkey appears in the registry when you install Client Service for NetWare.
